Jasper is Pet of the Week!

2014-10_yumaroos_fronts-in-row_small_rgb

“He’s as cute as he looks!” exclaimed a staff member at Long Beach Animal Care Services. We can all vouch for that! Jasper is a little male gray-and-white terrier mix, about 5 years old. He’s very sweet and loves to cuddle with Charlie, his little blind poodle kennel mate, (who’s also up for adoption—hint, hint). Meet Jasper (and Charlie, too!), at Animal Care Services on the shelter side of the P.D. Pitchford Animal Village, 7700 E. Spring St., Long Beach, (562) 570-PETS. Ask for ID#A576699. (Charlie’s is A574758!)

It’s that busy time of the year! Back-to-School time is here! That also means that it is a good time to make sure your children are taking their vitamins! Choose high-quality vitamins and supplements from Nature Made® to start the school year on track.

There are different options available from Nature Made®.  I went to Target with a provided gift card to purchase the Nature Made® KIDS FIRST® Multivitamin Gummies. I love Target since it really is one of my favorite stores! What is my favorite thing about the multivitamins?  I love that my son doesn’t argue about taking them because they taste good.  My son will not take vitamins that do not taste good! There have been many times where I have bought vitamins and he would not take them so I am very happy that he loves these! I like that they contain 12 essential nutrients for age-specific nutritional support, including vitamins A,C,D and E, B vitamins, and minerals like iodine and zinc.  I have to admit that my son can be a picky eater and I feel more confident that he is taking these multivitamins. They also are all natural  flavors and are Gluten free. There are also no synthetic dyes or preservatives or yeast.

I also like to take Gummies so I am quite impressed with the Nature Made® Adult Gummies. I actually just recently tried them and they are now my favorite!  They come in delicious flavors such as mango, peach and strawberry and they even have a “Love Them or They’re Free” gummy guarantee! Now, how cool is that?! Although, I am not quite as picky as my son, I can be picky where vitamins are concerned!   (These are not recommended for children).

Also available are KIDS FIRST® Multivitamin with Omega-3 Gummies, KIDS FIRST® Vitamin C Gummies and KIDS FIRST® Fiber Gummies. I plan to try the KIDS FIRST® Vitamin C Gummies next! I think those would be perfect for the upcoming cold and flu season! With all the busy times we have ahead, I want to make sure my son stays as healthy as he can so Vitamin C really may help support his immune system.†

img_3897-jpgnewsize

Looking for a treat even the pickiest of Cats will love?

Delectables™ SqueezeUp™ with Chicken and with Tuna are a big hit with our cats! I also have one cat that is very picky and he loves them especially the Tuna!

These treats are a rich, thick puree in a lickable tube that you can hand feed for a fun and delicious treat. if you have a Cat who doesn’t like to be hand-fed, then you can simply squeeze into a bowl or on a plate. Two of our three cats preferred this way.

HARTZ has really done it this time! All our cats love these treats! I can’t even say which flavor was the favorite since they didn’t last very long at all! I have to say that our cats definitely have a favorite new treat!
