New Daniel Tiger app from PBS KIDS!

PBS KIDS today announced the launch of its third app from the popular series DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD – Daniel Tiger’s Grr-ific Feelings for iPad.Designed for children ages 2-5 and produced by The Fred Rogers Company, the app for iPad is now available on the App Store, just in time for the back-to-school season and the premiere of new DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD episodes later this month. Daniel Tiger’s Grr-ific Feelings extends the series’ social-emotional curriculum, helping kids identify and express their feelings through four engaging activities.

 

“In a recent survey*, parents told us that they value social and emotional skills as the most important tools for their child’s learning success,” said Sara DeWitt, Vice President, PBS KIDS Digital. “As families prepare for the school year routine with their preschoolers, PBS KIDS is excited to introduce Daniel Tiger’s Grr-ific Feelings, which helps kids learn to identify and express their feelings through words, play and songs. Nut Milk Bag to make Almond Milk easily & quickly!

I love the Nut Milk Bag because it is great for making Homemade Almond Milk! I am finding the bag to be very durable and it is reusable. I thought that it would be difficult to clean but it isn’t at all! It’s so easy to use. But, what I like best is that it really is strong and is just perfect for making Almond Milk. I don’t like pulp in my drinks and this really does keep the pulp out! The bag is 10×13 inches so it fits over bowls easily for straining. I have never attempted to make Almond Milk before using this and was really relieved to find it so simple to use! I also love that there is a Lifetime Money Back Guarantee. This is perfect for kids ages 5+ and for single player which means this is perfect for this Summer when you hear those dreaded words…”I’m Bored!!” Young children can learn about spatial relationships in a fun way as they have lots of fun putting this 14 piece puzzle together. They also won’t get bored too quickly either since there are 60 challenges they can complete. They can also use the pieces to make their own patterns. Now, how cool is that?! My son enjoyed trying this out and he is 10. At first. he thought it was just for little kids but he actually enjoyed it. You can find it on Amazon! Retails for $14.99.

More than 35,000 elephants are killed by poachers each year for their ivory and the goal of the campaign is to stop the killing, demand and trafficking of elephant ivory.

Now, more than ever we need your support for a cause that is very important for the Wildlife Conservation Society – 96 Elephants. The 96 Elephants campaign, named for the number of elephants currently gunned down each day by poachers, focuses on: securing effective U.S. moratorium laws; bolstering elephant protection with additional funding; and educating the public about the link between ivory consumption and the elephant poaching crisis.
