Risen The Battle for Darracia by Michael Phillip Cash

Risen is the third and the final ending of the Darracia trilogy. I feel that you should read the first two books to truly understand and appreciate this final book in the saga. You do not have to read them to enjoy the book but I do recommend doing so. It appears that all is in despair and is lost for Darracia at the beginning of this story. I mean, King V’Sair is presumed to be dead, Zayden (his step-brother) is now blind and feels angry and hopeless and Reminda is also missing and being held captive. But, these are not your normal everyday characters! Oh no! Michael Phillip Cash will not allow them to wallow in their despair, will he? No! As, I have mentioned in previous reviews, Cash has a way with his characters and they are really a strong part of his stories. This is one reason I so enjoy his books. King V’Sair and Zayden are strong warrior characters and evil can’t win over good, can it? This book is action-packed and I couldn’t put it down until I was finished. It was intriguing and I was very satisfied with the ending to this trilogy.

Self Disclosure: I received this book for free to facilitate this review but any opinions expressed are honest and truthful.
