Navitas Naturals Time to make Healthy Smoothies this Summer!

Logo - BIG

Summer is the perfect time for smoothies! And, what is better than a healthier smoothie? Earlier this summer, we reviewed some great healthy products from our new friends at Navitas Naturals. Such delicious products that were healthy and also tasted good. They also have powders that are great to add to smoothies and more. We received the Nori Powder (Sea Superfood) and found that we could add it easily to soups and many smoothie recipes. The bag  contains 100% pure nori powder that is certified organic, kosher, non-gmo, gluten-free and raw. Join the Smoothment!  Navitas Naturals has created the Smoothment-an interactive, multimedia program that features easy and delicious organic smoothie recipes plus advice from executive chef Julie Morris. The Smoothment aims to inspire people to upgrade the nutrtion of one mean or snack per day by adding an organic superfood smoothie into their daily routine.  I signed up and enjoyed reading about how to make a  Kids’ Berry Bonanza Smoothie. Yum!

Fiesta Musical A Musical Adventure Through Latin America For Children

Emilio Delgado (“Luis” of Sesame Street) introduces 12 joyful songs on this bilingual musical celebration of Latin America, featuring songs from Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba and Peru.

American Library Association – Notable Children’s Recording
Parents’ Choice – Gold Award

Critical Acclaim:
“Rich, varied rhythms… give children an exciting way to connect with other cultures”
—Early Childhood Today (Best Bets)

“Twelve selections from seven Latin American countries include traditional and contemporary songs. While they are sung mostly in Spanish, the lyric sheet includes the English translations. Each piece is introduced in both languages by Emilio Delgado (“Luis” to Sesame Street watchers). Vocals by adult artists, mostly from the countries represented, are liberally interlaced with accomplished children’s voices. Most interesting of all is the variety of indigenous instruments – quitiplas, maracas, charango – many of which are unfamiliar to the average North American ear. A sunny and satisfying introduction to our southern neighbors.” — from Parents’ Choice®

1. Fiesta Musical – Maria Medina-Serafin
2. A La Escuela – Bobi Cespedes
3. La Acamaya – Eugene Rodriguez/Artemio Posadas Jimenez
4. Tonadas de Quitiplas – Jackeline Rago
5. Salaque – Sukay
6. Happy Bomba – Carolyn Brandy
7. Los Pollitos – Maria Marquez
8. De La Puna – Sukay
9. Los Enanos – Eugene Rodriguez/Artemio Posadas Jimenez
10. El Gallo Pinto – Claudia Gomez
