Now, how magical does this sound? Pretty magical to me! I received a really cute plush LT. PUFFIN who enjoyed a magical staycation with me this past week! I’m sorry to say he missed our family trip along the coast to Big Sur but my dog Bink was quite curious about him!

They became fast friends! My adorable plush Puffin doll can be found  at

He is just too cute!

THE SWAN PRINCESS, a magical, musical animated adventure based on the classic fairy tale “Swan Lake” has captured the hearts of audiences around the world. The winner of the Film Advisory Board Award of Excellence and the Parents’ Choice Award, it’s the heartwarming story of the beautiful princess Odette, who is transformed into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s spell. Held captive at an enchanted lake, she befriends Jean-Bob the frog, Speed the turtle and Puffin the bird. Despite their struggle to keep the princess safe, these good-natured creatures can do nothing about the sorcerer’s spell, which can only be broken by a vow of everlasting love. THE SWAN PRINCESS is bursting with color, dazzling animation, beautiful music and the vocal talents of Jack Palance, John Cleese, Steven Wright, Sandy Duncan and Michelle Nicastro.

The 25 anniversary Blu-ray release includes an all-new featurette entitled “A Look Back, Tease Ahead,” plus a variety of additional archival features.

In the newest film in the series, THE SWAN PRINCESS: KINGDOM OF MUSIC, our favorite princesses are back in an all new feature-length musical adventure. Princess Odette is hosting a music competition to celebrate Princess Alise’s birthday – the winner will sing at her grand birthday ball! Prince Li of Cathay has entered, but his sister Princess Mei Li has stowed away on his ship to seek help from Odette and Derek for Chen, who has been cursed to live as a dragon. Lucas and Alise are reunited but Prince Li’s arrival makes Alise doubt her feelings. While Li and Lucas fight for Alise’s heart, Derek and Odette try to help Mei Li and Chen break the curse. Who will win the music festival and will Chen ever be free from his curse?

Included with the Kingdom of Music DVD are interactive sing-alongs featuring two all-new toe-tapping tunes from the film and a behind-the-scenes featurette that explores how the world and characters of the film were brought to life.

Make Grocery Shopping Easier!

I am a big believer in using reusable bags so I am quite excited to tell you about the Lotus Trolley Bag! This will make your life really will! These aren’t your average reusable bags and I like that they are also really compact and don’t take up as much room in my car! The Lotus Trolley Bag can be found on Amazon and it is a 4 bag system that spreads out in your cart at checkout for easier, greener and more organized shopping.

Now, how cool does that sound? Pair them with the reusable Lotus Produce Bag and you will have an eco-friendly bagging system and I have to admit, I felt quite stylish as I hit the local grocery store!

What an easy way to be #plasticfree! These are so simple to use. The Velcro handles attach to the grocery cart handle so you can hang your bags there while you shop! TAPERED IN SIZE to fit the carts, so make sure to have the purple bag in the BACK and the beige bag in the front.

Here are a few more tips:
-RODS ARE REMOVABLE – Our newest version has fully removable rods making the bags perfect for beach days or being on-the-go.
-SMALLER CHAIN STORES do not have conveyor belts, give the full cart to the cashier and grab an empty cart for an easy seamless check-out!-SPREAD OUT THE WEIGHT – Each bag can hold over 70 lbs. but its best to spread out heavy items so that each bag does not get too heavy to lift easily.
-LIFT THEM FROM THE RODS (instead of the handles) to place in your car – if bags are nice and full this makes it more ergonomic to lift the weight and transport.

Twisted Love explores the redemptive power of love even amidst the most brutal and privileged echelons of contemporary society. Julietta Aguilar, a young archaeologist with a dark past shrouded with sordid family secrets, discovers a hidden chamber under the ruins of the Templo Mayor, in the heart of Mexico City. She soon finds herself enmeshed in an ancient mystery even as she tries to solve her father’s senseless murder.

Now followed by cartel killers, deadly supernatural spirits and thwarted by her own family, her quest for peace seems almost insurmountable – until she meets a man in black with a nefarious background who goes only by one name, Rocky.

Dana Outrigger Canoe Club is gearing up for their largest and most exciting event of the year at Dana Point Harbor. The annual Whitey Harrison Classic is set to take off on Saturday, August 10, and will consist of over 900 competitors from 32 outrigger canoe clubs across Southern California racing to the finish line in a 9-man outrigger canoe. This 20-mile water race will start at 8:30 a.m. just off the shores of Doheny State Beach, with activities wrapping up by 5 p.m. Competitors push their canoes past the beachy waves just outside the mouth of Dana Point Harbor, venture out to Main Beach in Laguna, and travel back to Doheny to cross the finish line.

Celebrating it’s 49th year, the race started in 1971 as part of Dana Point Harbor’s opening ceremonies. The Whitey Harrison Classic, the first 9-man race of the season for the Southern California Outrigger Association, is separated into 19 competitive divisions with competitors ranging in age from 12 to 70 years. Each canoe consists of 6 paddlers and 3 alternatives on a support boat who swap places during the race, all while keeping a steady fast pace through the water.

Spectators line up along Dana Point and Laguna Beach rooting on their favorite team as they make their way up the coastline. A variety of vendors and activities will be stationed at Doheny Beach park for onlookers to visit throughout the duration of the race. Each canoe club will have their own tents set up along the beach as well for all visitors to meet the teams and get to know some of their favorite athletes.

Dana Outrigger Canoe Club invites all to experience this incredible race and learn more about the outrigger life that has brought athletes and ocean lovers together in an extraordinary sport.
