Introducing Olay Active Botanicals!

Refreshing Gel Cleansersmall      Moisturizing Day LotionsmallMoisturizing Tonersmall

I have a new favorite line up of skin products from Olay! These truly are my new favorites! Olay Active Botanicals leave my skin feeling fresh, clean and hydrated!  A first for Olay skincare in the U.S., all products in the new Active Botanicals contain extracts of snow mushroom. I have to admit that I have never heard of the benefits of this but I found this rather interesting! Used for thousands of years by Chinese women to help keep skin moist, soft and pliable, this natural ingredient can hold up to 500x its weight in water, making it one of the most effective botanicals to provide and maintain skin hydration.

My favorite is the Refreshing Gel Cleanser! I love how just a little bit foams up and cleans my combination skin. Sometimes I have a difficult time finding the right cleanser because of my combination skin but this one works great! It works fantastic on my dry areas but also works great on the oily areas. My skin over all feels more hydrated too! Retails for $5.99, which is a great price for this one!

The Moisturizing Toner would be my second favorite! I love that this one is 99% alcohol-free and I use this once in the morning and once at night. It preps your skin before using the moisturizer and my skin feels really clean after using this one! Retails for $14.99.

There is also the Moisturizing Day Lotion and I like how light-weight this one is and love that it doesn’t feel greasy on my face. I use it in the morning and my face feels softer all day long. It seems to work well under makeup too. Retails for $14.99.

Intensive Night Creamsmall      Overnight Moisture Masksmall

The last two products in the line up are the Intensive Night Cream and the Overnight Moisture Mask. The Intensive Night Cream features a snow mushroom hydra complex that provides skin with up to 24 hours of hydration. I love how gentle this one is and my skin feels really soft after I use it. Retails for $14.99. The Overnight Moisture Mask actually would be my third favorite! It is an oil-free, gel-cream formula. This mask actually stays on your face and absorbs into your skin as you sleep. I use this one twice a week (as suggested) instead of the Intensive Night Cream. I love it! Retails for $14.99.

I know my skin loves all these products because I can tell that my skin is a lot less dry, and much more hydrated.

All products are available at Target locations nationwide and Target.com.

Old Navy Empowers Kids to be #Unlimited with Song & Video Produced in Collaboration with AwesomenessTV

Cover Art

This back-to-school season Old Navy asked kids at Boys & Girls Clubs around the country what it means to be #Unlimited. The result? An inspirational song and music video featuring some of AwesomenessTV’s biggest stars that launches today on youtube.com/oldnavy. Building on its mission to give every child the resources they need to be #Unlimited, Old Navy is holding a fundraising campaign to donate up to $US500,000 to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BCGA) and Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada (BGCC).  An in-store donation drive will run from July 24 to August 19, 2015 in Old Navy stores in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada.

In partnership with AwesomenessTV, Old Navy interviewed kids at Boys & Girls Clubs from San Francisco to New York City about what makes them feel #Unlimited. Their words inspired a powerful new song that Old Navy hopes will empower kids of all ages this back-to-school season. Written by acclaimed music producer Cisco Adler and Alex Aiono, the song is performed by AwesomenessTV talents Alex Aiono, Cimorelli, Jordyn Jones, Josh Levi, Mahogany Lox and YouTuber Megan Nicole. YouTube music video director and musician Kurt Hugo Schneider directed the video and captured it in one continuous take.

The song reminds kids that they are #Unlimited no matter what obstacles and fears they face and to “be strong, be bold, and be brave” when challenges arise. This encouraging message builds on Old Navy’s successful back-to-school musical anthem from last year. The 2014 #Unlimited video, which secured an Emmy nomination and over five million views, featured a young girl facing her personal anxiety and doubt on her first day of school.

This year’s music video features talent dressed in special edition Old Navy #Unlimited t-shirts. The shirts are available for girls and boys in Old Navy stores and online. Designed to give back, 20 percent of the proceeds, up to US$75,000, from sales of the shirts in the U.S. and Canada will help support BGCA and BGCC. Visit www.oldnavy.com/unlimited to learn more.

The tees are the centerpiece of a larger Camp Old Navy fundraising effort to benefit BGCA and BGCC. From July 24 to August 19, 2015, Old Navy will match in-store customer donations to BGCA and BGCC up to US$415,000. Customers can participate in the fundraiser by donating at the register at all stores, buying an #Unlimited tee or downloading the #Unlimited song at oldnavy.bandcamp.com. Donations from song downloads, which Old Navy will match up to US$10,000, will be donated directly to Boys & Girls Club of Malibu where songwriter Cisco Adler is an active supporter.

The fundraiser will benefit Camp Old Navy’s work with BGCA and BGCC to give underserved youth access to after school opportunities. Kids with access to organized learning and play are 30 percent less likely to get involved in crime and 50 percent less likely to get involved with drugs. Since 1999, Camp Old Navy has served over 90,000 kids. Learn more about Camp Old Navy at www.oldnavy.com/campoldnavy.

A complete innovation merging 8 children bikes into 1!

IMG_4737_LPsmall

In the present, parents more and more often look for smart investments, including things for children that don’t have to be replaced over and over again because they outgrow them.

Leggo Bikes LLC has designed an 8-in-1 bike suitable for children ages 8 months to 6 years.

The light birch plywood frame comes with an ability to accommodate eight modifications which give additional support for learning to walk, improve the feeling of balance and enable an option for pedaling! Your child for more than 5 years can enjoy the freedom of rocking and riding on one safe and harmless toy.

In addition to various versions, Leg&Go is also safe. Its unique frame design provides incredible suspension travel absorbing shock and safeguarding your child’s spine. The frame is unique not only because of the suspension, but also its angles are developed so that the frame automatically shifts the shock from saddle to wheels. And, Leg&Go has a better steering mechanism with readjustable steering limiter and bigger front wheel for more precise steering.
For more comfort, there are fine screws and holes at set positions that can help you alter its seat, steering, and frame. Thus, you can have a wide range of options to customize this bike per your kid’s riding or steering requirements. Being flexible in size, it allows each child to master balance at their own pace and start pedaling with complete confidence and reduced risk of falling. With regard to loosing balance, Leg&Go being made from wood has a quality that metal bikes don’t- wood takes on a part from hit, preventing or significantly reducing the severity of injury.
The bike has a stylish, waterproof design. Leg&Go is not only elegant in looks, but it also ensures safety of the environment. The eco-friendly birch plywood-frame design enables the perfect thickness for maximum flexibility and durability.
The use of each Leg&Go part has been carefully thought through, which is why it has alloy rim, steel spokes, wider polyurethane saddle, belt instead of a chain and the best fitting mechanisms for pedaling.
There is nothing like this on market and in order to bring the completely new invention to reality, Leg&Go team has launched a campaign on Kickstarter. Visit their website www.leggobike.com or take a closer look at their Kickstarter project to learn more about Leg&Go.
Words can only capture so much, but this video does an awesome job of showing how versatile the Leg&Go truly is.
Leg&Go truly is.
