Celebrate Poetry Month with these books!

This first one is perfect for older kids and teens! A MILLION QUIET REVOLUTIONS by Robin Gow (Farrar, Straus and Giroux BYR, March 22, 2022, Young Adult): A modern love story, told in verse, about two teenage trans boys who name themselves after two Revolutionary War soldiers. It’s a lyrical, aching young adult romance perfect for fans of The Poet X, Darius the Great is Not Okay, and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Universe.

This next one is a beautiful picture book for younger kids! LET’S DO EVERYTHING AND NOTHING by Julia Kuo (Roaring Brook Press, on sale March 22, 2022, Ages 3-6): A lush and lyrical debut picture book that celebrates the marvels—big and small—of childhood and depicts the everlasting love between a child and their caregiver.

Self Disclosure: I received free copies of the above books to feature. Cover images were also provided.

Easter Basket ideas!

Looking for ideas for your kid’s Easter Basket this year? Here are some of my favorite ideas!

Hog Wild Toys’ Chocolate Bunny Popper

This first one will be a hit with children ages 3+.  The Chocolate Bunny Popper is rather unique! With six pastel foam balls included you won’t want to miss the satisfying ‘POP’ when they shoot out of the bunny. Great for indoor or outdoor play and available on Amazon for $12.99. I had a couple of my young reviewers check this one out and they had so much fun!

This next one is actually something fun to do before Easter arrives!

Bunny EggMazing Egg Decorator from Hey Buddy Hey Pal

The mess-free, Easter phenomenon is back! If you’re not familiar, the bunny-shaped decorator holds and spins hard-boiled eggs while you hold a marker to the spinning egg, creating stripes, lines and other fun designs! PLUS, the Bunny EggMazing Egg Decorator comes with NEW pastel-colored markers. Perfect Easter-fun for the whole family! Available on Amazon for $27.99

This one is just perfect for Easter Egg decorating! The whole family really will enjoy this one!

This next one is perfect for Easter Baskets, especially for older kids and teens!

Jelly Belly Gum

The new gum gives Jelly Belly enthusiasts the Jelly Belly flavors they LOVE in a long-lasting gum format. It comes in Watermelon, Berry Blue, Island Punch, and Very Cherry and is available nationwide at Party City, Dollar General, and Amazon. It’s the perfect addition to any Easter basket. My favorite flavor is the Watermelon! I also love that this gum is sugar-free!

Hope that you have a wonderful Easter!
