Hornet FPV Drone with HD Camera 720p is a great holiday suggestion!

I love this Drone! Why? Because it is easy to fly! I also really like the HD camera and I didn’t crash it! Oh yes, I am the Queen of crashing flying objects! It seems to be quite durable since it is still in one piece and I like that this is perfect for beginners! It also has a fast takeoff and the batteries charge fast and seem to last awhile.I also like the headless mode  I think that this would make a great holiday gift idea! Another big plus is that it includes extra batteries.

DISCOVERY CUBE HOSTS 11th ANNUAL SCIENCE OF GINGERBREAD COMPETITION TO KICK OFF THE HOLIDAY SEASON 

Science of Gingerbread to Feature Hands-On Activities and Gingerbread House Competition for Educational and Entertaining Family Bonding

Starting November 25, 2016, nonprofit Discovery Cube is hosting their annual Science of Gingerbread Exhibit and Competition, through January 1, 2017, at both of their campuses in Orange County and Los Angeles. The Cube’s holiday festival is filled with educational, hands-on activities designed to bring families together this holiday season. Local companies, schools, families and organizations have been invited to build their own gingerbread house creations and enter into a competition. The entire visual display must be made of edible materials. Gingerbread creation entries will be displayed throughout Discovery Cube.

Winners will be announced at the Gingerbread Awards Ceremony occurring at both campuses simultaneously on the night of December 9, 2016. Award categories include: Best by an Organization, Best Youth 5 and Under, Best Youth ages 6-13, Best Youth Group/Troop/Scout, Best by Classroom, Best by a Member of the Cube, Best Super Hero Themed, Best Science Themed, President’s Choice and Jr. Gingerbread Engineers Presidents’ Choice. Discovery Cube seeks to prove that there is more than just mixing and pouring in the kitchen, it’s science at work.

Exhibit activities include:

  • Gingerbread Derby Competition
  • “Matter of Taste” Stage Show (weekends only)
  • Build a House Learning Station
  • Cookie Decorating
  • Santa Claus meet and greets (available from 11:00am to 3:00pm on 11/25-11/27, 12/3-12/4, 12-10/12/11, 12/17-12/24)

Whole Foods Market celebrates National Cookie Day with 25-cent cookies all week

National Cookie Day is Dec.4, but Whole Foods Market is celebrating for an entire week by offering freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for 25 cents each from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6. They are available daily while supplies last at all Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S, limit three per customer.

“The holidays mean cookie season is upon us, and we think the best way to celebrate is with a sweet deal for customers,” said David Lannon, Whole Foods Market’s executive vice president of operations. “And don’t forget the 365 Everyday Value milk, soy milk or almond milk for dunking!”

All bakery items at Whole Foods Market are made with cage-free eggs and non-bleached or bromated flour, and they contain no artificial preservatives, colors, sweeteners or hydrogenated fats.

It has been a long day and you left the laundry in the dryer..all day! You have a meeting and need to change but all your clothes in the dryer are wrinkled! Jennifer Paskow Make A Circle

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Jennifer Paskow is hooked on volunteering to perform at hospitals, special ed schools, and benefits for causes she believes in because each experience reaffirms the ability of music to uplift, heal, and empower. Her CD was released in September of this year.

Jennifer Paskow has inherited some of the heart and soul and indeed the passion of singer-songwriters of the ’60s and ’70s who have inspired her since childhood.  Born of a mission to bring light, love, and beauty into the world, Make A Circle introduces children to the idea that learning to love and accept oneself is the first step to loving and accepting others while embracing everyone’s differences.

Freely admitting her admiration for Raffi and his child-honoring philosophy, and inspired by the spirit of her favorite album from childhood, Free to Be … You and Me, Jennfer Paskow’s objective with Make A Circle was to make a recording that would feel like a hug for humanity.  Produced by Don Boyette (Michael Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Gary Clark, Jr.) and mixed and mastered by Robert Carranza (Jack Johnson, Beck, The Mars Volta, Los Lobos, Ozomatli), the album achieves and far surpasses Jennifer’s goal.

Make A Circle leads off by showcasing Jennifer Paskow’s rich, honeyed voice on “Make A Circle,” whose central message is to extend your love to others by learning to love yourself.  “On The Inside,” an anthem to self-esteem, encourages young people to look within to discover their intrinsic value.

“I Am A Tree” connects us to one another and Mother Earth by presenting the metaphor of a tree connecting to the earth as an emblem of the oneness of all things, while “Celebrate This Day” urges physical movement to express the sheer joy of life. Continuing the celebration theme, Jennifer Paskow’s version of “This Little Light of Mine” is a manifestation of traditional hand-clapping gospel exuberance.

Celestial bodies receive their due in the wrap-up of this beautiful album.  The soothing sounds of “Hello Moon” depict the wonder of being connected to nature and the universe, while “Long Time Sun” is an Irish blessing that Jennifer Paskow sings at the end of every children’s yoga class she teaches.

A trained music therapist and children’s yoga teacher, Jennifer Paskowhas been an exponent of healing since she was a child.  When not recording or performing publicly, Jennifer can be found teaching yoga to kids living in shelters and sharing her music with hospitalized children and their families as a volunteer with the acclaimed organization The Art of Elysium. Says Jennifer, “Singing for kids in the hospital is a real highlight for me.  I always walk away feeling joyfully inspired and rooted in my purpose.  I’ve been doing community service since I was nine years old, and hte ideas of giving back and supporting my community are deeply ingrained in my being.  I believe in the interconnectedness of all life and that, as we give, we are receiving.”
