Brew over Ice this Summer with Snapple K Cups!

It’s summer time and that means time for nice cool refreshing Ice Tea! Snapple Ice Tea is a favorite of mine so I was thrilled to find out that they now have Snapple K Cups for the Keurig brewers. I had the opportunity to try the New Peach Iced Tea and just love the delicious peach flavor! It is made with green and black tea leaves and is simply delicious! I love how simple it is to make a nice glass of ice tea! I can honestly say this is my new favorite beverage for the summer!

Free Museum On Wheels w/ Ben Franklin program for Summer & early Fall 2013

In addition to its’ in-house tours for schools and organizations, the International Printing Museum in Carson, California has had an “out reach program” that has traveled to various schools thru out S. California for the past 15 years.
 Recently, the museum received a grant from The Ludwick Foundation to bring its’ outreach program of Benjamin Franklin & his Museum On Wheels to 40 schools in the greater LA area with primary focus on 5th & 8th Graders for Free!  These alternating fun & fact-filled 50 min. programs are available thru this summer and into early October of 2013 and follows state curriculum guidelines.
Thru a 12′ trailer that opens up into a colonial print shop along with Dr. Franklin the students and teachers get to realize that “fonts” have a longer legacy than on their computers and that adventures of inventiveness and ingenuity are a few imaginative steps away from their cell phones.  If you and your school are interested they can find out more by visiting the museum’s web page @ printmuseum.org. under Ludwick Foundation Grant article or call us  310-515-7166 Tues.-Sat.
 
As one of the young attendees remarked at the end of the program, “I was laughing and learning at the same time!”

Happy Summer!!

I love this time of year! I love sunny days at the beach and all the fun things to do! Yes! I admit it..love summer vacation and no school! It doesn’t mean we stop learning! There are Summer Reading programs, arts and crafts classes, trips to the Museum and so many other ways to learn and have fun during the summer! Keeping Memories with Shutterfly!

It’s that time of year to be wrapping up the school year! A great way to keep school memories is a Photo Book or Yearbook from Shutterfly ! I had the opportunity to create a 8×8 Yearbook Photo book with  my son and we enjoyed creating and love the final product so much that we plan to do this every school year! This is also a great idea for Senior Year memories or Summer memories! I like that there are so many choices from designing the cover to creating each page!  You can choose from so many styles and personalize it to make it the way you want. Summer with popchips!

Bath Time with Laura Mercier!

After a day out in the sun, it’s great to pamper your skin! Laura Mercier has wonderful bath time products! The Creme de pistachio honey bath and the Almond Coconut Milk Body Butter are two of my favorites for the summer! It really isn’t easy to pick a favorite out of the two. The Creme de pistachio honey bath is inspired by the scent of pistachio nuts and cream. I love how this one smells! This foaming honey bath left my skin clean and soft! Ingredients include Vitamins A & E. 12 oz. and retails for $40.00. The Almond Coconut Milk Body Butter smells delicious…just like coconut and almonds. This one hydrates your skin and I like that it absorbs into the skin quickly. Ingredients include Shea Butter, Grape Seed Oil and Aloe Vera. 6 oz. retails for $35.
