KiX Cereal Launches New Interactive Packaging to Inspire Creativity & Imaginative Play in Children

It’s said to be the most important meal of the day, yet it’s often eaten on the way out the door. Breakfast time is not generally the best time for family togetherness…but what if your kids could start their day as an undersea explorer? Or take a hike in the forest while chatting with a friendly raccoon? And when their adventure is over, they can tell you all about it? What if the stories in their minds can be brought to life using simple cardboard cut-outs and by following along to a story on a computer or iPad?

KiX cereal, a longtime favorite of parents and small children, is proudly launching a brand new packaging design and online platform called KiX Adventures – designed to bring a parent and child together on an adventure that inspires learning, imagination and creative play.

Each box has a different theme– jungles, oceans or forests– that turn the box itself into a toy. Built with perforated building pieces, kids can punch out and assemble shapes and characters for each of the brand’s three flavors and then use the pieces to follow along with online storybooks, written by actress and celebrity mom Soleil Moon Frye, that help bring the new boxes to life.

Just like the KiX brand, Soleil Moon Frye is a champion for kid creation and took her passion for creativity to write three original stories that were inspired by the characters on the new boxes – Rocky the Monkey, Fletcher the Raccoon and Mazy the Octopus.

We received samples to review and these really are creative & fun! They are easy to pop out the different shapes and I just love the different themes. My favorite is the Undersea adventure. What a great way for children to be creative and use their imagination! Look for them at a Target near you!

Self Disclosure: I received free samples to facilitate this feature.
