Whisper, Dec. 13th Pet of the Week

Look at that face!!! Precious!

Long Beach Animal Care Services doesn’t want to keep a secret anymore! There’s a sweet blue Doberman pincher who’s been quietly living in the kennels for a couple of weeks, and — tread softly — her name’s Whisper, and she’s only 11 months old. Whisper has the ears and tail she was born with, and she’s looking for someone who’ll keep her that way. She was found as a stray in Long Beach and kept in a home for a while. While there, she developed flea-related skin issues that went untreated, but thanks to LBACS vets, she’s recovered. She still has a little fur loss, but she’s perfect otherwise, inside and out! Long Beach Animal Care Services is over capacity with dogs, so speed the process to adopt or foster Whisper or any of our other pets by emailing PetAdopt@longbeach.gov or petfoster@longbeach.gov. You can also call (562) 570-4925. Our shelter hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7700 E. Spring St. at the entrance to El Dorado Park (no parking fee for shelter visitors. Ask for ID#A732901.
