Sequoia, January 5 Pet of the Week

such a cutie!

Sequoias are among the oldest trees in the world. Sequoia is among the longest-standing shelter residents. She’s been at our shelter for over half a year. Sequoia’s a good girl, full of love and energy for play and walks. She’s also as beautiful as her namesake. If you have an active lifestyle and can give this young shepherd a life with lots of walks, exercises and engaging activities and are familiar with the breed, please come to meet her! (It would help if you’re smarter than she is, too!) You can speed the process to adopt or foster Sequoia or any of our other pets by emailing PetAdopt@longbeach.gov or petfoster@longbeach.gov. You can also call (562) 570-4925. Long Beach Animal Care Services hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 7700 E. Spring St. at the entrance to El Dorado Park (no parking fee for shelter visitors). You can email PetAdopt@longbeach.gov to speed the process for adopting or fostering Sequoia. Ask for ID#A700382.
