Seattle Chocolates Unveils 1950s-Inspired Holiday Bars & Truffles

Seattle Chocolate Company’s 2012 Holiday Collection, inspired by classic holiday tunes of the 1950s, evokes the romance, glamour and innocence of that era. This special collection of vintage-styled bars, gift boxes and truffles, called “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” is reminiscent of a time when dressing up was the norm, skis were long, narrow wooden sticks, and every child dreamed of owning a Flexible Flyer.

Seattle Chocolates has created five delightfully cozy chocolate truffle bars, a mouthwatering truffle advent calendar and two limited-edition truffle boxes featuring the new “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” holiday flavors.

We received two of the yummy Chocolate bars and they are delicious! Christmas Cookie is my favorite! It’s a yummy creamy milk chocolate bar with a white chocolate center. The Chocolate Truffle Bars also come in Hot Buttered Rum, Holiday Cheer Eggnog, Mom’s Hot Cocoa and Candy Cane Crunch. They retail for $3.50 for a 2.5oz bar.

Each of the five holiday bars is available individually or as an assorted Five-Bar Collection gift box (SRP $20.75/12.5oz.) A Trio Gift Box (SRP $11.95/7.7ox) is also available and includes Christmas Cookie, Hot Buttered Run and Candy Cane Crunch.

I also received the Seattle Chocolates Snow Day Box (SRP $11.95/6oz) and this is my favorite! I wanted to keep them all for myself but shared them with my son and husband. It includes Candy Cane, Mint and San Juan Sea Salt truffles. My son loved the Candy Cane truffles but my favorite was the San Juan Sea Salt truffles! (I use this in past tense, because they are all gone!) This would make the perfect gift since it already comes in an adorable gift box! The box portrays a neighborhood park on a winter day and is tied with a festive bow and a matching gift tag attached for easy gifting.
