The Fourth of July seasonal fireworks can be traumatic for our pets. Paisley, a lovely, friendly 3-year-old pit-bull terrier, came to the shelter before July 4, possibly frightened by explosives. She was still wearing her pink collar. Sadly, her owners never came to claim her, and she still looks for them when she’s out in the play yard. She’s become a staff favorite, and they’d love nothing more for her than a loving family who’ll protect her and ease her heartbreak. Please meet Paisley in the shelter side of the Companion Animal Village at 7700 East Spring St., (562) 570-PETS. Ask for ID#A592544.
