Don’t let the solemnity fool you—Miss Daisy is a 2-year-old love!. She was nervous when she got to the shelter, but volunteer Susan, who combines “determined” and “loving,” brought her to the point of purring and biscuit making, especially when it’s done with a back scratcher. She wiggles all over the place! Miss Daisy would love someone to drive her home. Shelter hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 7700 E.
