Mavericks Snacks Partners with Paramount Pictures for ‘Transformers One’ Film Release

Teaming up with Paramount Pictures, Mavericks will promote the latest installment of the Transformers series, Transformers One – scheduled for theatrical release on Friday, September 20.

Leading up to the film’s release, Mavericks brought the partnership to life at Whole Foods Market, with co-branded Transformers One packaging for all their snacks, a national social media sweepstakes, and a series of targeted digital ads. They’ll also host two road show-style, immersive events – in Austin, Texas and in Miami, Florida – where shoppers can win Transformers One movie tickets, swag, and of course, Mavericks Snacks.

“We like to make grocery shopping a unique experience – something people look forward to as a highlight in their weekly routine,” says Jennifer Mandanici, Store Support Merchant for Whole Foods Market. “Through the Mavericks and the Transformers partnership, they’re bringing big-screen energy to the aisles of our stores.”

Recently named one of Parents Magazine’s “Best Snacks For Kids,” Mavericks is quickly becoming a household name for families seeking high quality, non-GMO Project Verified options. Known for their plant-based, bolt shaped cookies in crave-worthy flavors like Birthday Cake and Double Chocolate, Mavericks launched their brand-new Sandwich Crackers in June with Whole Foods Market at select stores nationwide. As a proud long-term supplier, Mavericks also recently introduced their Birthday Cake Bolt Cookies in convenient, on-the-go snack packs as part of a seasonal, Back-to-School-focused program at Whole Foods Market.

Mavericks first launched their line of better-for-you cookies in April 2020. Driven by the overarching goal of “Reinventing Delicious,” the family-first snack brand strives to bring new energy to a category that’s long been overlooked.

Founded by a father of three young snackers, Mavericks was created to fill a void where flavor and fun meet wholesome and satisfying. Where families are inspired to (snack) break from the norm and embrace the idea that “better-for-you” can also mean just plain better. The name “Mavericks” is a nod to that time in early childhood, where everything is possible and the world seems limitless. Their snacks are meant to embrace that energy – fueling the next generation of Mavericks (and their families!) one cookie or cracker at a time.

You may remember I reviewed these delicious snacks for back-to-school in September! I love the peanut butter crackers and the cookies! They are a must for back-to-school lunches and after-school snacks!

About Mavericks Snacks

In 2019, Livio Bisterzo, CEO of Green Park Brands, founded Mavericks Snacks after recognizing a lack of family-first, better-for-you choices within the snacking landscape. The team at Mavericks has officially ditched the ‘cookie cutter’ – putting a new-school spin on old school classics, with snacks that take you back to the nostalgic favorites of childhood – but this time, junk-free.

Their plant-based, lower-in-sugar cookies were made with families in mind, encouraging indulge (guilt-free) with crave-worthy flavors and feel-good ingredients. Their newest innovation to hit the market – nostalgic, better-for-families Sandwich Crackers baked with whole grains – are now available in both a Peanut Butter and Cheddar Cheese variety.

Mavericks operates as a Green Park Brands business, a holding company established in 2015 to create, operate and accelerate high growth emerging consumer brands. Other Green Park Brands include Hippeas, HoldOn Bags, and Reel Paper.
