Inspiration: Matin Maulawizada describes his look as “a melange of 1960’s glamour and Pamella Roland’s clean, geometric aesthetic that can be worn with ease by the modern woman.”
To achieve a flawless face, Matin first applied Laura Mercier Foundation Primer ($32). Followed by New Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact SPF 20 ($45). Last but not least, Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Pink Mosaic ($38) was then heavily applied to the cheekbones to create a glamorous effect.
Then there are the lips & eyes! For the lips. Matin applied Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Angelic ($26) to achieve a subtle and clean lip color. He also noted that if the lips appear too dark or pink, Laura Mercier Eye Canvas ($26) can be applied beforehand to neutralize the colors. For the eyes: Matin noted that the “eyes are the focal point of the look.” He achieved this by drawing a thick upward wing with the New Laura Mercier Artist’s Luxe Liquid liner ($125), which will be available this October! The a matte, neutral eyelid was achieved using Laura Mercier Eye Canvas ($26).
