George is a very loving, sweet boy who will paw at you at his kennel window, beggin for a playmate and the affection he misses from his former owners. George has unfortunately been diagnosed with FeLV, a feline viral disease that impairs a cat’s immune system and can cause other diseases like cancer. Humans and dogs can’t catch it, but it is contagious to other cats. Despite this, George has lived 7 years and has a chance at many other good years in a rescue, a sanctuary, or a home with either other FeLV cats or no other cats. He’s a lap sitter and a hand rubber, and wants nothing more than to relax by your side. Please consider saving an at-risk cat and giving him a home, as it is urgent that he find placement because of his FeLV status. Meet George at the Companion Animal Village at 7700 East Spring St., (562) 570-PETS. Ask for ID#A591115.
