Gabi, June 20 Pet of the Week

AWWWW! So sweet!

Gabi has been living in a shelter kennel far too long. The girl is waiting for you to be the key to unlocking her freedom and happiness. Gabi is only about3 years old, but examination showed that she’d birthed multiple litters, which probably included the young male she came in with. The two were found abandoned and tied up together in front of a public storage facility back in September. Gabi’s son has been adopted, but she’s still waiting for her perfect fit. She’s a beautiful buff color and has eyes that match her coat. She appears to be housebroken and walks well on a leash. She knows her sit and shake commands, and if you’ve got a yummy treat, she might raise both front paws in the air! Gabi will do best in a home without cats. She has a great little prance when she’s happy, and the volunteers long to see her prance her way into a loving, forever home. Come lock eyes and souls with Gabi, and she will quickly offer the key to your heart! The Long Beach Animal Care Services is over capacity with dogs, so speed the process to adopt or foster Gabi or any of our other pets by emailing PetAdopt@longbeach.gov or petfoster@longbeach.gov.
