Downtown Santa Monica will kick off the holiday season on Thursday, November 5, with the grand opening of Frost on 5th Ice Rink. Located just blocks from the ocean, the 7,200-square-foot rink features real ice and offers a uniquely Southern California way to celebrate the holidays.
Families are expected to join the festivities, which will feature:
- Free ice skating*
- A professional figure skating performance
- Festive bites from Downtown Santa Monica businesses
- Holiday surprises and giveaways*
- Family-friendly entertainment, including live music, face painting, a photo booth, and more!
A beloved Santa Monica tradition since 2006, the ice rink welcomed more than 36,000 skaters last year, bringing locals and visitors together to make lasting holiday memories. The rink will be open daily through Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January, with firepit and party tent rentals available for celebrations throughout the season.
