Celebrate the Year of the Rat with Chinese New Year: Shanghai Nights Aboard the Queen Mary Saturday, January 25, 2020

Celebrate Chinese New Year aboard the majestic Queen Mary on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Chinese New Year: Shanghai Nights will honor the Year of the Rat with traditional Chinese cuisine and entertainment featuring Wushu Shaolin Entertainment’s dragon and lion dancing, Chinese martial arts and acrobatics, face changer, Sound of China Guzheng Ensemble, and more. 

Located aboard the Queen Mary in the famous Grand Salon, the limited dinner seating will be a feast for the senses surrounded by stunning decor. A buffet-style dinner featuring classic Chinese cuisine will begin at 7 pm followed by live entertainment. The buffet dinner will feature a variety of traditional dishes such as honey glazed walnut shrimp, roasted duck, golden crispy fried chicken, fish with black bean sauce, lo mein, yang chow fried rice, braised mushrooms with bok choy, and desserts such as sweet red bean with tapioca. 

Wushu Shaolin Entertainment brings Chinese martial arts, acrobatic artistry, dance and music together to captivate the audience. Lighting and stage effects compliment feats of athleticism, grace, and gymnastic prowess. Throughout the evening, Wushu Shaolin will perform the dragon dance, Chinese face changer, lion dance with drums, Chinese ribbon dance, traditional fan dance, acrobatics, and more. 

Tickets to Chinese New Year: Shanghai Nights aboard the Queen Mary are currently on sale and all tickets include dinner and entertainment. General Admission is $119 and VIP tickets are $149 and include seating closest to entertainment, a beverage of choice, and a Chinese lantern. Date Night Packages are available for savings off and include two tickets to the buffet dinner and show. Date Night packages are $230 per couple for GA and $290 per couple for VIP.
