The name Byron may give you images of romantic poetry and doomed poets, but ah, no—not our Byron! He’s just a down-home guy—in fact, volunteer Dee said that his name means “barn for cows”! Cows? Nope—Byron doesn’t wrangle cows—he much prefers his stuffy toys, as you can see. He’s handsome and funny, and he wants to live a happy-dude life with a forever person! Shelter hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 7700 E. Spring St. at the entrance to El Dorado Park (no parking fee for shelter visitors).
