Bunny Hops, Oct. 13 Pet of the Week

awwwwwwww!

Bunny Hops is into everything! So nosy—she thinks she’s a cat! This poor girl is a mystery. She was tied up and abandoned in a park back in May, and she had a couple of scars that suggested mistreatment. What’s the mystery? Not where she came from, but how, after that bad beginning, she has no fear of humans and is sweet and gentle to everyone she meets. She loves hanging out in the play yard and taking walks with her volunteer friend. She accepts treats gently and adores pets and scritches. She’s only 4 years old and deserves to spend the rest of her good life with someone as loyal as she will be. If you have time to help her decompress from the shelter and can return her affection, she’s yours! You can speed the process to adopt or foster Bunny Hops and any of our other pets by emailing PetAdopt@longbeach.gov or petfoster@longbeach.gov. You can also call (562) 570-4925. Even better, stop by Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Our shelter is located at 7700 E. Spring St. Ask for ID #A698850 to meet Bunny Hops.
