Meet sweet Bobbi Sox. She’s only about 8 months old, and she’s already experienced tragedy. Bobbi was found after she was hit by a car—the incident caused a seizure and left her with head trauma and a wobbly walk. But it didn’t affect her personality—Bobbi just wants cuddles and pets, to hang out with people, and a nap on your lap. Bobbi needs more than just a loving home—she needs someone who understands her specific special needs. Even a temporary foster will do her a world of good. Please come to our shelter and meet her! Long Beach Animal Care Services is over capacity with dogs, so speed the process to adopt or foster Bobbi Sox or any of our other pets by emailing PetAdopt@longbeach.gov or petfoster@longbeach.gov. You can also call (562) 570-4925. Our shelter hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7700 E. Spring St. at the entrance to El Dorado Park (no parking fee for shelter visitors). Ask for ID#A766266.
