Seriously, this is not only a face that a mother could love but one that anyone could love! And that mug reflects everything about Benji! If anyone asks you what kind of dog Benji is, volunteer Dee said to tell them that he’s a purebred “gud boi.” He’s a happy fellow who waits patiently for volunteer Cheryl to give him his treats and then sits and wags his tail to beat the band while she unlocks his kennel for a walk. Benji’s good on leash and is learning some commands, and that smiling face rocks his Mickey Mouse collar! Shelter hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 7700 E.
