Luv Ur Skin Products are a Must-Try!

Luv Ur Skin (LUS)

Luv Ur Skin (LUS) is an Australian-based brand that offers the best natural skincare for this age group and their sensitive skin.

Izzi Dymalovski launched Luv Ur Skin when she was 13-years-old. While dealing with her skincare issues and searching for the right products, she put her trust in nature and a powerful native Australian plant extract, Plantolin, to give others her own age a better way to address their skincare needs gently.

Luv Ur Skin has a farm system where they grow and cultivate Plantolin with a patented process. It’s the hero ingredient in all of their products.

I actually tried out the Take Off Gentle Face Wash, Calm Down Soothing Face Moisturizer, and the Pure Bamboo Face scrub and loved all the products! My favorite is the Scrub Off Pre Bamboo Face Scrub! You only need to use a small amount and it left my skin feeling so clean and refreshed!

Collaborative Art Exhibition, SUMMERTIME, to Open March 23 in Glendale, CA

SUMMERTIME Artwork, The Land of the Sun by David de Rozaz & Carolina Caycedo

The upcoming art exhibition SUMMERTIME, a collaborative project between SUPERCOLLIDER, an art, science and tech curation collective, and students of the Glendale Unified School District will open at the Brand, Library and Art Center on Saturday, March 23. The exhibition will be on view through Saturday, May 18 with an opening reception on Saturday, March 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.

SUMMERTIME explores the concept of a fictional landscape, analyzing the ways in which humans have altered and divided natural surroundings. The works presented challenges viewers to contemplate the artificiality of the environment and the possibility of alternative landscapes. The exhibition features a series of thought-provoking pieces that create relationships with each other and with the space in which they are displayed.

Chrissy and Chris, March 22 Pets of the Week

Aren’t they too cute?!

Chrissy (bottom right) and Chris have nearly identical markings, so it’s no surprise that they’re related—mother and son, in fact. But they’re only about 6 months apart in age! Yes, Chrissy is about 14 months old, and Chris is 8 months old. Female cats can get pregnant as young as 4 months old! Spaying and neutering pet cats and community cats is important to prevent unwanted litters, but as for these two sweet, brown-and-white domestic shorthair cats, they need a home. They share a double kennel and are not only close in age but are also practically attached at the hip! They eat together, play together, snooze together, and shine and entertain. We couldn’t imagine adopting one without the other! To adopt or foster this cute pair, email PetAdopt@longbeach.gov to speed the process, or call (562) 570-7387. Better yet, come meet them in person at Long Beach Animal Care Services, 7700 E. Spring St., Long Beach. Hours are Weds–Fri, 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and Sat–Sun, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Ask for ID#A714163 for Chrissy and ID#A714162.

(This rescue encouraged by the usual suspects.)
