Rikki Tikki is Pet of the Week

Rikki Tikki, age 5, is a male marvel in a harlequin half-mask. He was fearful when he came to the shelter, but the staff brought him of his shell beautifully. He’s ready to attend the masked ball, or at least play with a catnip one! Meet Rikki Tikki at the Companion Animal Village at 7700 East Spring St., (562) 570-PETS. Ask for ID#A555617.

The Café de Europa Hazlenut Creme Brulee also has the sweet caramel and a vanilla taste but also a hazelnut taste. Evolving from plain brown, themed and characterized bandages have become all the rave for kids to use in protecting their scraps or cuts. Similarly, Minions began as minor characters in Despicable Me and soon became the next craze, now even starring in their own major hit movie!
Kids around the country are obsessed with all things Minion, and one necessity missing in medicine cabinets everywhere are the new Minion bandages, which are now available at your local CVS/pharmacy.
These are even a Must-Have for adults who like Minions! I received samples and these are a must-buy if you have a Minions fan in your home! They are great to throw in your purse or to keep in backpacks for outdoor adventures!

Fruit Infuser Water Bottle from GiantBest is a Must-Buy!

What a great way to stay healthier! This Fruit Infuser Bottle from GiantBest is a real must-buy! It is great for outings, hiking and actually anywhere! I love that it is so easy to use and so easy to clean. I also love that adding fruit to my water this way is much better tasting than many of the flavored waters on the market. A big plus is that it also comes with an insulated sleeve that really does keep your drink colder. The size is great-it is much bigger that I thought it would be and I love that it doesn’t leak and is BPA Free.

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, a Magical Animated Series from the Creators of Peppa Pig, to Premiere on Nick Jr. tonight!

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, a magical animated series for preschoolers from the creators of children’s TV sensation Peppa Pig, will make its U.S. debut on Nick Jr. on Monday, October 5, at 6:30pm!
Preschoolers join Holly, a young fairy princess whose magic doesn’t always go according to plan, and her best friend Ben Elf, who doesn’t have wings and doesn’t do magic (but is extremely good at making things!), as they embark on exciting adventures throughout the Little Kingdom and work together to fix magical mishaps all along the way.
Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom is an International Emmy Kids Award-winning series – and we’d love to work with you to share the news with your readers about this standout new show that’s well-poised to cast an enchanting spell on the pintsized set!

Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks is the place to go for Happy Hour! (Or anytime that you are hungry!)

Are you looking for somewhere to hang out at Happy Hour? I highly recommend Islands Restaurants and have to admit I am a bit partial to the Redondo Beach location. My husband and I recently had the opportunity to review the newest Happy Hour specials at the Islands in Redondo Beach and we were both quite impressed. Actually, it is now my very favorite Islands location. The food was delicious and the service was amazing!
I recommend the Mangorita but that is just me! I love blended fruit drinks. They have a wide variety of drink specials. I’m sure you will find the perfect one for you. I really like the appetizers and I was not disappointed with some of the newest offerings. The Island Nachos were a big hit with my husband and I. But, I really liked the new Island hot dogs. There is a Pipeline one which is a delicious chili dog with cheese and onions and a Nalu Nalu hot dog…if you love the Nalu Nalu Burger, you will love this one! The Nalu Nalu is a little spicy but it is so good with the sautéed onion and peppers. Of course, some of the regular menu appetizers are still my favorites too. I can’t go to Islands without having their Spinach & Artichoke Dip and my husband loves their Buffalo Wings!
Besides the food being delicious though…I am always impressed with the service at Islands. We were overly impressed with our server Mitsy and the manager, Dave at the Redondo Beach location. They were personable, friendly and like I said….really made this visit to Islands an amazing one! It is located at 1609 Hawthorne Blvd, Redondo Beach so check it out soon! I know I will be going back!
