Shutterfly Photo Books are a Must-Have for Keeping Memories!

v1     v5

Looking for a great way to keep Summer memories?

Summer is here and  there is a great way to keep all those Summer memories! I recently had the fun opportunity to make a Memory Photo Book on the Shutterfly website and I love how fun and easy it is! We actually did one with this past school year.  You simply upload your favorite photos on the pages and you can add text and even fun sticker images. It really is the best way to keep a fun record of those memories! Remember, time goes too fast and they grow too quickly! I can’t believe my son will be in 7th grade in the Fall!

Shutterfly also has different options such as Soft or Hard Cover and different sizes and layouts. We homeschool loved designing a memory type of yearbook on Shutterfly. It really is a great school project idea!

To find out more, check out Shutterfly !

We have teamed up with our friends at Shutterfly and are having a 8×11 – 20 page photobook giveaway ! One winner will be able to make their own 8×11 photo book (20 pages). To enter, leave a comment telling us something fun you plan to do this Summer! Also, a new guideline has been added! Simply go to the Shutterfly blog and comment on a post of your choice and then come back to SoCal City Kids and comment. Deadline to enter is July 5th, 2015 at noon PST. One winner will be selected randomly via Random.org.

Self Disclosure: I did received a free photo book from Shutterfly but any opinions expressed are my own. Photo Credit: Shutterfly.

This weekend, on June 27 and 28, Casey MacLean, an ambitious, altruistic 13 year old aspiring firefighter from Marina Del Rey, CA will ride his bike from Fire Station #62 located at 11970 Venice Blvd in Los Angeles to the Whole Foods Market in  La Jolla, San Diego. Last year, he did his first 100 mile ride from Culver City to Santa Barbara and raised $4,100. This year, he is riding 130 miles with the goal to raise $5,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and his education fund. This is the second year Whole Foods Market is sponsoring his ride and Patrick Bradley, Southern Pacific Regional President will join him for the second half of his ride, from the Laguna Niguel Whole Foods Market store to La Jolla. In addition to Whole Foods Market, Casey has gained support from: GoPro, Wheel World Cycles, Santini SMS, Outlaw Graphix, Invo Coconut Water, Beyond Meat, Hornblower Cruises, Stromer, Bike Attack Electrc+, and Thule. Whole Foods Market got involved when Casey came into the store and shared his story. Last weekend they hosted a BBQ to fundraise and managed to collect nearly $1,000.
