THE QUEEN MARY’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY ON DECEMBER 13TH

The Queen Mary is pleased to announce the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to take place in the spectacular Holiday Village at CHILL on December 13, 2012 from 6pm-9pm.  Get in the spirit of the season with live entertainment by AJ & The Merry Gentlemen and a special performance by the International Children’s Choir.  Families can enjoy story time with Mrs. Claus, portraits and a visit with Santa, festive refreshments and a fun-filled evening of celebration! Guests who donate a Ronald McDonald House wish list item receive complimentary entrance into the Holiday Village where festivities take place. 

 

“The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is proud to partner with the Queen Mary’s Chill,” says Mort Stuhlbarg, president, LBRMH Board of Trustees. “Our mission is to provide a ‘home away from home’ to families of seriously ill children.  We rely on support from the community and our partnership with the Queen Mary is a prime example of how we’re helping these families. All of our wish list items brought in by attendees at CHILL will be used for families at the House.”

 

What:     The Queen Mary’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is free to the public with a Ronald McDonald House wish list item donation.  Item must be dropped off at CHILL entrance to gain access to the Holiday Village.  Wish List Items can be found here: http://www.queenmary.com/chill/tree-lighting.php .  Parking is free with event validation.  (Does not include entrance to other CHILL attractions.)
