The best summer camp on a budget

Looking forward to Summer break? I know that we are! This is our last week. But, that doesn’t mean that learning has to stop. Education.com’s DIY Summer Camp is a great way to have fun while learning and you don’t even have to go away to Camp!

To help preventing the summer brain drain, the “Do-It-Yourself Summer Camp” includes 10 weeks of themed activities, both on and offline. Themes like “under the sea,” “animal adventures,” and “summertime science” provide kids with free resources on all subject areas including math, reading, science, and more. Kids can create their own ocean in a bottle, make a crocodile costume, or even solve the mystery of why crayons melt in the sun!

I love the idea of an Ocean in a bottle! I know we will be doing that craft this Summer!

Free resources are available within the DIY Summer Camp, and parents can also chose to subscribe for an Education.com Plus account for $5.99 per month (three summer months would cost $18), or a $3.99 per month billed annually if they’d like access to all of Education.com’s recourses.
