PlayKids, the #1 mobile entertainment app for kids 5 and under

Over the holidays, I discovered a great new app for children ages 5 and under. I would have shared with you over the holidays but as most holiday seasons go…it’s such a busy time and it goes by too quickly! PlayKids is something younger children will enjoy all year round though.

PlayKids is redefining the way parents tackle playtime and more through a unique mix of eBooks, shows, activities and lullabies. Since launching last year it has expanded to 26 countries, becoming the #1 app in 20.

Kids love it because it has their favorite shows like Dora the Explorer, Caillou and Daniel Tiger, and it’s easy for them to navigate all on their own.

Parents love it because it offers a breadth of educational and entertaining activities unlike any other offering.

And with offline video playback, it’s every parent’s secret educational and entertainment weapon on those long car rides or trips to grandma’s.

I checked it out and I love that  it also includes ebooks. My son is 11 so he is too old but I did have my 3 year old nephew check it out over Christmas. He really liked it!  I think his favorite part is the variety of characters. It really is entertaining and very engaging.

We have teamed up for a New Year Giveaway! This would make a great app for young children during 2015! One winner will win a 6 month pass (a code) and also a Caillou doll! Now, how cool is that?!
