Moonlight Movies on the Beach
Every Monday and Tuesday evening, the night sky over Granada Beach will light up with both classic and current movies for the whole family to enjoy! Hosted by Alfredo’s Beach Club, each movie will have food and beverage available for purchase, with movie and parking absolutely free! Movies begin at dusk.

Catalina Ski Race
Approximately 70 water ski teams will ski from the Queen Mary to Avalon and back using boats from 20 to 40 foot in length. The fastest teams can finish the round trip in less than 1 hour, but most will be done in less than 2 hours. Skiers from around the world will participate, including teams from Australia, England, Belgium and New Zealand. The race will take place Saturday, July 21, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hotel Maya, 700 Queensway Drive. For more information, visit www.catalinaskirace.net.

Kahakai Outrigger Canoe Club Sprints
Teams from 20 local and out of state canoe clubs will compete in a day of races in various divisions. Kids will participate in sprint races, and adults in sprint relays. The race will take place Saturday, July 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Long Beach Marine Stadium, 5255 Paoli Way. For more information, visit kahakaioutrigger.com.
