Lines That Thyme is a fun book for children ages 6+. It isn’t too long or wordy which makes it perfect for younger readers to read alone. But, it is more fun to read together and try to guess the answers to the rhymes. It is only 24 pages which makes for a great story time bedtime read. The collection is a variety of fun rhymes on different subjects and my son enjoyed guessing what the answer and illustration would be on the next page. He also likes that the poems aren’t too long and wordy. They usually are about 8 sentences. It is a good book for children and the illustrations are also quite fun! I easily give this one 5 stars! I am looking forward to more children’s books by this author.
