A Magical Day at Disneyland

Disneyland really is a magical place! Last week my son and I had the opportunity to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure. My 10-year-old son was so excited that he had trouble falling asleep the night before and woke up bright and early the next morning because he was so excited and ready to go! We have been to both parks before but it had been a few years. I was looking forward to visiting because I’m a big fan of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and my son and I were both excited about exploring Cars Land.

My son is now tall enough to go on nearly every ride and he was most excited about the roller coasters! We arrived when the parks opened at 10 am and quickly decided to check out California Adventure first. My son couldn’t wait to go on Soarin’ Over California and California Screamin’. I actually loved Soarin’ Over California and I survived California Screamin’.  We then chose to visit Cars Land and yes, the line was a bit long for the Radiator Springs Racers and we missed the fast passes. But, the wait was worth it! I absolutely loved it and so did my son. It’s like you are in a real car race! It may just be one of my favorites in California Adventure. Although, World of Color is not to be missed! In my son’s words…”World of Color is awesome!”  We also went on the Little Mermaid Ride and there was practically no line for this ride but it’s a wonderful ride especially if you are a fan of the Little Mermaid!

We just had the most magical day hopping from park to park! There are just so many fun rides, shows to see, and so much to do! It is truly a magical place! What I love most about Disneyland is that it’s really like you are somewhere special even if you live 30 minutes away. It’s like you are in a magical and fun world away from your every day life. It’s the atmosphere! There are amusement parks and then there is Disneyland parks. Maybe, it is the magic castle, the plants and gardens, the Disney characters but Disneyland is the place to go! My son says they also have the best rides like Space Mountain! You can actually spend more than a day here! I actually recommend spending at least a couple of days! (Hint! Isn’t Spring break approaching?) Disneyland Resorts also offer Two or Three Days of fun at special prices for southern California Residents right now! So don’t miss out on this special opportunity!

Southern California residents can “show their Disney side” in 2014 as the Disneyland Resort once again presents a ticket offer especially for them, with options for two or three days of fun and adventure at the parks – all at special prices.
