Sampling and giveaways will help celebrate the grand opening of new Dunkin’ Donuts location

Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, today announced plans to roll out the pink carpet and open its newest location in Atwater Village on Wednesday, March 16 at 5 a.m. The restaurant, located at 3100 Glendale Blvd, will offer the local community the full array of Dunkin’ Donuts’ iconic menu items including fresh-brewed coffee, lattes, delicious baked goods, sandwiches and more.

 

To celebrate the grand opening, the first person in line will be rewarded with a $250 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card, while the first 50 people in line will receive a branded travel mug accompanied by a gift card to use towards future restaurant purchases. Throughout the day, guests will also have the opportunity to walk Dunkin’ Donuts’ pink carpet, enjoy free passed samples and pose for photo opportunities with beloved brand mascot, Cuppy.

 

Local dignitaries will be in attendance for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to mark the momentous occasion and welcome Dunkin’ Donuts to the neighborhood, which is scheduled for 8 a.m. There will also be a check presentation to the Friends of Atwater Village, a local non-profit organization working to improve the neighborhood, from clean-ups to mural projects and more.  In alignment with Dunkin’ Donuts’ goal to support nonprofit organizations making a difference in communities across the United States, the restaurant will donate $1,000 to further the organization’s efforts in Atwater Village.

 

This new location will provide almost 50 jobs to people living in and around Atwater Village and will be open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.It will be operated by Good Treats, LLC, owned by franchisees Johnny Andersen and Bjorn Bayley. The franchise group has plans to develop 14 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout Glendale, Burbank and the Santa Clarita Valley over the coming years. The new location will also be a part of the DD Green™ Achievement initiative, a green building certification program designed by Dunkin’ Donuts to help franchisees build new, sustainable and energy-efficient restaurants.
