Simon’s GamePlay Tour Comes To Brea Mall Gamers of All Ages Get a Sneak Peek of Hottest New Video Games, Compete in Challenges, Win Prizes and More

Delivering yet again a unique top-level entertainment experience that no retail venue can match, Brea Mall announced today that the 2013 Simon GamePlay™ tour, connecting fans of all ages to the hottest video games before they are officially launched and available in stores, will come to Brea Mall on Saturday, November 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Center Court.

  Simon GamePlay, powered by Coke Zero, will take place exclusively in 27 Simon® properties around the country. The free event will run from August through November 2013. Last year, more than 900,000 gamers across the country participated  in Simon GamePlay.

“One of the great things about Simon GamePlay is that it has something for every gamer – from young kids to parents to hard-core gamers,” said Cathi Weiner, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Simon.  “The tour is one of our most successful on-mall programs, and we’re excited to present it to consumers across the country.”

The Nintendo Experience lounge will be at the center of this year’s GamePlay tour. Shoppers will have the opportunity to play the latest games on Wii U™ and Nintendo 3DS™. New games for Wii U such as The Wonderful 101™, The Legend of Zelda™: The Wind Waker HD, and Wii Party™ U, will be available to play as they release throughout the fall. For Animal Crossing: New Leaf fans, stop by the Nintendo booth on select dates throughout September for Animal Crossing gatherings from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. local time. Gamers are encouraged to bring their Nintendo 3DS to connect with other gamers through StreetPass™ while they visit.
