September is Baby Safety Month—Car Seat Safety 101

Did you know that according to the CDC motor vehicle injuries are a leading cause of death among children in the United States?

From pregnancy, birth, back-to-school, and beyond, September is an especially busy time of year for parents. And when your mind is spinning from the amount of after-school activities and carpooling that needs to be done, taking some extra time to make sure your newborn or toddler is safe while on the road may be a necessity.

What better time to ensure our kids are safe than during September’s Baby Safety Month. With the above infographic from Diono, you help can ensure your child’s safety is your top priority.

I also received a Car Seat from our friends at Diono! The Diono Monterey Expandable Booster and I highly recommend it! It is polyester and fits children 40-120 pounds. What I like about this one is that it is designed for the growing child. It expands in both height and width.
