Say Cheese! pediped® is looking for the next rising star!


Is your child comfortable showing off his or her sweet smile and pinchable cheeks in front of the camera? If so, pediped® is looking for you! The award-winning children’s footwear brand is hosting a national casting call in search for the next rising star to model in its photo shoot this fall. The casting call began July 22, 2013.

To participate in the casting call, photos can be uploaded to during the submission phase. The submission phase will run from July 22 to July 26. One grand prize winner will be selected by pediped® founder, Angela Edgeworth for a trip for two to Las Vegas to partake in the Spring/Summer 2014 photo shoot in October. The winner will also receive a $750 pediped® giftcard.

America will have the chance to vote for their favorite, too. Photos will be displayed in an online photo galley during the voting phase, July 31 through August 9.  Along with a grand prize winner, the photo that receives the most votes in each of the three stages, Originals®, Grip ‘n’ Go™ and FLEX® will be featured on, pediped® social media pages and in pediped® marketing materials.

How the pediped® Casting Call works:


Entry Phase: From July 22 to July 26, parents in the US can enter their child in the contest by visiting and uploading a recent photo of their child for a chance to be featured in the pediped® photo shoot and national advertising campaign. Photos will be placed in a pediped® walking stage based on the child’s age – Originals® (age 0-12 months), Grip ‘n’ Go™ (age 13-24 months) and FLEX® (age 25 to 96 months).


Voting Phase: From July 31 to August 9, the photo gallery will be open for voting at  People can view and vote for their favorite photos and encourage friends and family to vote by sharing the contest on Facebook, Twitter or through email.  People are allowed to vote only once per photo per day.


Prizes: The photo with the most votes in each stage, determined by America’s votes, will be featured on and in pediped® marketing materials. One grand prize winner, selected by pediped® Founder Angela Edgeworth, will receive a $750 pediped® gift card and a trip for two to pediped’s photo shoot in Las Vegas. The winners will be announced in mid-August.
