I am now a Children’s Claritin Mom Crew Member, which I am excited about since we’ve used Claritin for my son’s allergies for years now. It really seems to work the best when he is suffering from his allergies. We recently had a fun outdoors Mom get together for a Playmaker Playdate. We actually had this get together at the beach enjoying time off from school and to welcome Summer! The moms were happy to talk about allergies and the ones who weren’t already using Claritin, said that they would love a coupon to go try Children’s Claritin for their child’s allergies.
As a Claritin Mom Crew Member and Host of a play date, I received a Children’s Claritin cooler tote, Spring totes for other Moms, Children’s Claritin spring themed refrigerator notepads, discount coupons and Outdoor play space ideas and recipes. The recipes were the big hit! (Strawberry and Cream Cheese Sandwich, Pizza Roll-Up, Cucumber and Dill Dip, Springtime Lemonade and Dirt Cups with Gummy Worms. My favorite was the Cucumber and Dill Dip!
Cucumber and Dill Dip
Ingredients:
1 small English cucumber, peeled and seeded
1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
1 TBS finely chopped fresh basil
1 tsp kosher salt
1 TBS olive oil
Directions:
1. Use the large holes of a grater to shred the cucumber
2. Lightly squeeze the pieces to extract some of the liquid
3. In a small bowl, stir together the cucumber with the remaining ingredients.
There were also great activities suggested such as Backyard Obstacle Course, Mud Pie Station and Creating an Outdoor Art Space. The hit was the Art Space! The kids had a lot of fun! Yes, we were able to set this up at the beach and had lots of fun making sand art!
