Piano lessons have gone virtual!
JoyTunes has just released Piano Maestro (formerly Piano Mania) and the app is already #1 in education apps.Piano Maestro allows users to practice the piano with their smartphone or tablet—no wires required. You can use a real piano too!
The game like atmosphere makes learning to play the piano fun too. Kids can earn skill points and unlock new songs to learn. My son and I had the opportunity to check this out and he really likes it! It’s free on itunes but you can also pay for more songs. My son liked that the songs were cool and not like songs just for little kids. (He is 10 years old). This app is for ages 9-11.
Self Disclosure: I checked this out with a free prom pass and no other compensation was received. Any opinions expressed are truthful.
