On Monday, January 19, PBS KIDS will premiere a one-hour ODD SQUAD special in which the kid agents save more than the day – they save the world! In “Odd Squad Saves the World,” the agents tackle high-stakes cases and work together to overcome their biggest obstacles yet. In addition to the on-air broadcast, clips and full segments from “Odd Squad Saves the World” will also be available on pbskids.org, the PBS KIDS Video App and PBS KIDS on Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast and Amazon Fire. New episodes from the series will also premiere throughout the week of January 19. Don’t miss it!

PBS KIDS has released a new THOMAS & FRIENDS app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.THOMAS & FRIENDS Watch and Play is the first THOMAS & FRIENDS app to offer full-length episodes, in addition to games that promote key problem-solving skills and foster social-emotional growth for preschoolers. The app is available for $2.99 on the App Store.
I checked this one out briefly since my son is too old for Thomas & Friends but we both agree that it is great for preschool age children. I like that the games are more than just fun! They really do encourage learning skills that are important for young children.
