“John Wilson has no talents, No aspirations. He is certain that he will never live up to his parents’ expectations.” He is the main character of this inspiring book by Gerry Orz. I have to admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect but being in awe of such a younger writer way beyond his years was not what I was expecting. This is a story of a man’s journey from childhood to adulthood and it is way beyond just an ordinary journey. You will laugh and you will cry as you read about love, loss and loyalty. This is a story about life and I recommend it for both Teenagers 13+ and adults. One really strong aspect of this book is the characters. I felt that as I read page after page, I really got to know them. There were ones I really liked and a couple I didn’t but even the ones I didn’t like…I felt they needed to be in the book so you could really understand the main character and his journey. My favorite character is John but I also really liked his sister and enjoyed reading about the special bond they had.  It is not often that I give a book 5 out of 5 stars but I do give this one that rating. I highly recommend it and look forward to the next book by Gerry Orz.

Look for the book on Amazon.com by the end of July!
