Gorda isn’t really gorda, that is, chubby. She’s a perfectly shaped spayed tan Chihuahua. At 9 years old, she has plenty of years left to play and to lie curled up on your lap or at your side. She is so sweet! Gorda has a best buddy at the shelter that we’d love to see her go home with. Her name’s Sunniie (yep—no typo!), and she’s a black pit bull spayed lady, also 9 years old. They’re like Timon and Pumbaa! Meet them at Long Beach Animal Care Services on the shelter side of the P.D. Pitchford Animal Village, 7700 E. Spring St., Long Beach, (562) 570-PETS.
