Young students from around North America and countries like Kenya and Bulgaria will celebrate peace through the international language of music, on Tuesday, February 7. Three-time GRAMMY Award nominated Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could will perform a live streaming concert and interact with hundreds of young people for a “Peace, Love and Buncee Buddies” event. Plus, students may enter a contest this month for a chance for a personal Skype session with Brady.
Buncee Buddies is the online pen pal feature of Buncee, a digital storytelling, creation and presentation tool for students and educators where they may easily create interactive classroom content. Buncee allows learners of all ages to visualize concepts and communicate creatively. Buncee Buddies classrooms connect via video chat and by exchanging Buncees with the goal of building friendships, discussing ideas, and providing a cultural, global education opportunity for students.
Brady and Buncee chose to conclude the concert with the Pete Seeger’s song “Well May the World Go.” Brady will perform this song and others from his repertoire, inviting students to create Buncees in response. One school in the Philippines plans to create a music video based on Brady’s song “Me on the Map.”
In fact, anyone anywhere is invited to participate in “Peace, Love, and Buncee Buddies” live or stream the concert afterwards. And, participants may enter the#BradyandBuncee contest for a chance to win a Skype session with Rymer and a 30 percent discount off Buncee Classroom or Buncee for Schools.

For the concert, Brady Rymer and his rootsy, nationally touring band will be singing songs with kids at Southold Elementary on Long Island. They’ll play songs off their newest Grammy nominated album, Press Play, and other favorite songs.The singalong will conclude with Brady’s version of Pete Seeger’s “Well May the World Go.” Brady says the song is “like a wish, a wish hoping that we all enjoy the simple, beautiful things that life has to offer: nature, music, sports and play, community, family, love and finally, peace. It’s a song that gently reminds us that we should live passionately and responsibly – knowing that what we leave behind will be passed on to future generations. It could also be a recipe for creating a peaceful world: take care of yourself and one another, respect and honor the earth, and then simply… well may the world go.”
After the concert, students will be invited to respond with comments and their own songs. The whole program will be archived and available for streaming after the live event. Educators and parents are invited to learn more about concert, discover Brady Rymer’s songs, and create their own Buncees featuring their favorite Brady Rymer songs.
