Celebrate the Spooky Season at Santa Monica Place this October with Events Hosted by Cayton Children’s Museum and The Gourmandise School

Cayton Children’s Museum  is calling all ghouls, little witches and superheroes to join their Howl-o-ween celebration on October 28. Children are invited to take part in a spook-tacular day of family-friendly activities including a mask workshop with Cardboard City, a magic show featuring Mr. Funn the Magician, a spooky maze, costume parades, face painting and much more. For available times and to book advance tickets, please visit caytonmuseum.org/special-events.

The Gourmandise School at Santa Monica Place is also joining the festive fun and is offering special Halloween-themed classes. On October 28 and 29, parents and children are invited to decorate their very own haunted cookie house and Halloween treats like vampire sandwiches, eyeball cookies and monster haystacks with multiple classes available over the weekend. On October 28, The Gourmandise School invites couples to a special Date Night: Halloween Bash, where costumes are welcome and guests will learn how to create decadent autumn dishes such as pumpkin ravioli paired with a seasonal witches brew cocktail. For more information and to register for these classes, please visit TheGourmandiseSchool.com.
