BOO AT THE L.A. ZOO RETURNS THIS WEEKEND!

The Los Angeles Zoo welcomes all ghosts, goblins, and ghouls the last two weekends of October for Boo at the L.A. Zoo, proudly sponsored by First 5 California, GoGo squeeZ, L.A. Care, and Skechers. Fang-tastic fun includes trick-or-treating throughout the Zoo featuring premium candies courtesy of event partner Mars; Halloween-themed feedings for select animals; and spooky story time with celebrated author Suzanne Lang and illustrator Max Lang reading Grumpy Monkey Don’t Be Scared, from Random House Studio, featuring New York Times #1 bestselling character Grumpy Monkey and his jungle friends, on Saturdays, Oct. 21/28 and the L.A. Public Library Children’s Librarians reading spooky stories along with library card sign-ups on Sundays, Oct. 22/29. Sights include the Extinct Animal Graveyard honoring dearly departed species along with ways to protect the vulnerable; a self-guided tour, where guests can discover wacky, creepy, and funny animal facts; and the LAIR (Living Amphibians, Invertebrates, and Reptiles) where the slithering and spine-tingling await.  

The L.A. Zoo and its nonprofit partner the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) ask trick-or-treaters to bring a bag for candy to promote sustainability and reduce waste. Costumes are encouraged!
