Ring in the new year aboard the legendary Queen Mary and step into an evening of masks, music, and celebration during her New Year’s Eve Masquerade Soirée on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Every deck of the iconic luxury liner will come alive with dazzling performances, live music, roaming performers, and moments of pure spectacle, culminating in the most spectacular fireworks show on the West Coast.

Entertainment will unfold across the ship all night long, with the masquerade theme woven through every performance. Guests can don their finest masks, or purchase one onboard, and be swept into an atmosphere of mystery and revelry featuring cabaret performers, champagne girls, cigarette and candy Girls, fortune tellers, magicians, and photo ops at every turn.

Each corner of the ship will offer something unique to explore, as entertainment keeps the masquerade theme alive throughout the night. The Queen’s Salon will feature a sultry burlesque show with a midnight balloon drop, while the Verandah Deck’s Masquerade Carnivale sets the tone for revelry with a live jazz band, rockettes dancers, and playful contests for Best Mask, Best Couple’s Costume, and more. Guests can sip cocktails at the Royal Revelry Piano Bar, where dueling pianists and a champagne tower keep spirits high, or head to the Celestial Garden for outdoor games, photo ops, and specialty cocktails beneath the stars.

“This year’s celebration is designed to immerse guests in the magic of the masquerade from the moment they step aboard,” said Steve Caloca, Managing Director of the Queen Mary. “Every performance, every room, and every detail will capture the ship’s enduring spirit of grandeur and festivity. It’s an evening of experiences, elegance, excitement, and memory making.”

For those seeking the ultimate experience, VIP Admission ($290) unlocks access to the ship’s most exclusive parties. VIPs can begin the evening early with a lavish dinner buffet in the Grand Salon, followed by entry to the Cabaret Lounge in the Verandah Grill, the world-renowned No3 Speakeasy, the high-stakes Casino Royale Lounge in the Britannia Salon with casino games, and private firework viewing areas on the Britannia Deck. 

As the clock strikes midnight, the sky above Long Beach Harbor will erupt in color for the Queen Mary’s 15-minute fireworks spectacular, capping off the night’s performances with an unforgettable finale. Guests can then continue the celebration with a DJ after-party and Breakfast Buffet in the Grand Salon from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. ($45 add-on).

The Queen Mary’s NYE Masquerade Soirée runs from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Guests must be 21 years old to attend. General Admission tickets start at $170. VIP Admission is $290 per person and includes early boarding, the dinner buffet, exclusive lounges, and premium fireworks viewing.
